Author Guidelines
Articles submitted to Journal MAERIFA must follow the writing procedure (template links) as follows:

The article manuscript is written in Indonesian or English.

The submitted article is the result of research with a maximum of 15 pages. A4 format (21x29.7 cm) with margins: bottom 2.54 cm, top 2.54 cm, left 2.54 cm, and right 2.54 cm.

Title, Abstract, and keywords are written in English.

The title of the manuscript should not exceed 15 words, formatted in title case, uppercase, centered, bold, using Times New Roman font, size 14, spaced 1.

Abstract does not contain images or tables, in justified format, using Times New Roman font size 10, spaced 1, not exceeding 250 words.

Keywords consist of 3-5 words/phrases, separated by commas, in justified format, using Times New Roman font size 10, spaced 1.

Article Script Content:
a) The main text of the article must be written in a one-column format with 1 cm column spacing, justified, using Times New Roman font size 10, first line indent 5 mm, spaced 1.
b) Consists of: Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, followed by Acknowledgments and References.-
Introduction: Disclose the research problem background, related studies, differences from previous research leading to the novelty of the research, problem formulation/identification, writing objectives, hopes to be achieved from writing, and scientific benefits.

Research Methods: Explain the data, population and sample determination, analytical tools used, and if applicable, include a Fishbone Diagram.

Results and Discussion: Disclose research findings based on field data obtained through questionnaires, surveys, documents, interviews, observations, and other data collection techniques. The results should be concise and clear, analyzed using specific techniques, and synthesized with certain theories. Discussion must analyze the significance of results, avoiding repetition and not discussing too broad citations or literature.

Conclusion: Contains a summary answering the writing purpose, the possibility of implementing or developing the research, and suggestions for future research.

Headings can only be made up to 3 levels:
a) Heading 1: Title case, small caps, left-aligned, bold, using Times New Roman font, size 10, 1 space, using Roman numbering with periods.
b) Heading 2: Title case, left-aligned, bold, using Times New Roman font, size 10, 1 space, using capital letter numbering followed by a period.
c) Heading 3: Title case, left-aligned, italic, using Times New Roman font, size 10, 1 space, using numbering followed by a closing bracket. -
Heading 4 is not accepted in article writing.

Figures and tables must be black and white. If made in other colors, ensure that they can be clearly read when printed in black and white. Figures and tables should be clearly legible and proportional to the page. Titles of images and tables must be numbered, using Times New Roman font size 10, spaced 1. Please provide images or tables in .tif/.jpg/.jpeg format in separate folders.

Mathematical equations should be clearly written, numbered, and include necessary information.

Manuscripts must include page numbers including headers and footers.

All hypertext links and section bookmarks will be removed from the article manuscript. If the article refers to an email address or URL, the full email address or URL must be typed.

Citations and references should be formatted using Mendeley or Zotero.
a) References should be alphabetically arranged by the last name of the cited author. Bibliography should use Times New Roman font, size 10, spaced 1, with a 0 pt underscore. Follow APA Style for reference formatting.
b) Primary references must be at least 80% of at least 15 references.
c) References must use up-to-date sources within the last 7 years.
The editorial board has the authority to reject article manuscripts based on peer reviewers' reasons and make necessary changes or adjustments related to language usage without changing the content of the manuscript. Editing content will be consulted with the author first.
Manuscript Preparation and Style
Authors must complete agreements when submitting their articles to journals, such as:

Ethics Statement stating the submitted article has never been published or is under review in another journal,

Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) stating the author submits their copyright to the journal and the article has followed the journal's format,
-
Authorship Agreement confirming the authors agree with the order of names in the manuscript.
Authors will be asked to upload the three agreements in the supplementary file section and check all required information as approval with the rules applied by the journal manager.
Submission Preparation Checklist
Authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items:

The submitted manuscript has never been published in any journal.

Files are in Microsoft Word document format.

Include the reference URL if available.

Text is spaced 1, Times New Roman font size 10, all pictures and tables are placed in the text as instructed.

Follow reference source writing instructions in the Author Guidelines.

This journal uses Double Blind Review.
